コーヒーは発祥の地とされるアフリカや、ブラジルなどの中南米での栽培・生産が盛んです。しかし、インドネシア、タイ、ラオス、ミャンマーなど、東南アジアの国々で生産量も増えており、質においても知名度が上がってきています。

Coffee is widely cultivated and produced in Africa, which is considered to be the birthplace of coffee, and in Central and South America such as Brazil. However, the production volume is increasing in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Lao PDR, and Myanmar, and the quality is also increasing. We interviewed Mr. Yamamoto, who is in charge of production areas for Umi No Mukou Coffee, which handles coffee from more than 30 countries, including the ASEAN region.

日ASEAN友好協力50周年ロゴデザイン・コンテスト受賞【田邊真也さん】

2023年「日本ASEAN友好協力50周年」の公式ロゴマークには、日本出身の田邊真也（たなべまさや）さんの作品が採用されました。本作品は、日本とASEAN加盟国で一般公募され集まった393点の作品の中から、インドネシアのジャカルタに所在するASEAN日本政府代表部とASEAN諸国の常駐代表部による審査の結果、選ばれました。
